Penny

Penny is a small, very pretty, one-year-old Greyhound that arrived at the centre in June.

She has come on leaps and bounds with her confidence since she first arrived at the centre back in June. She was originally nervous of new people but recently has been happy to meet and greet new volunteers. She is always excited to see her Canine Carers that she knows very well, and adores fuss and affection from them. Penny enjoys walking gently on lead and off-lead she enjoys sprinting and playing with squeaky toys. She is social with other dogs, loves their company, gains confidence from them and loves to curl up in a bed with them.

Penny is now ready to find her forever home. She is looking for a kind, loving, gentle adult only home, possibly older teens if sensible. She would like a quiet house-hold without too many visitors to get used to. Penny is looking for a home with another dog and potential adopters should expect to visit Penny a few times to build a bond with her before taking her home.

If you think you can give Penny the loving, forever home she deserves, then please give our Canine Carers a call at our Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre on 01271 812709, we are open every day between 12noon and 4pm except Wednesday when we are open from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
