Stagecoach Theatre Arts Barnstaple is a part time performance arts school for children aged 4-18years. We coach our students in drama, dance and singing each Saturday during term times at Pilton Community College and work towards staging plays and productions as well as routines and songs to perform in and around the community. Many of our students come for their love of the performance arts whilst others come to build confidence and to learn new skills. To come along as meet the team and find out a little more give us a call on 01271 533123 to enrol on a two week trial.

Our fun and friendly classes operate during term time, out of school hours, and run for three hours each week. Students are split by age into small groups so we can give every person the attention they deserve. No two lessons are the same as students enjoy experiencing a wide variety of performance skills and styles. With three terms a year we structure the lessons so that one term focuses on the skills of singing, dancing and acting, the second term allows students to practise and hone these skills, and the third term sees students gaining performance practise in front of friends and family.Stagecoach's experienced and professional teachers have worked in the performing arts and all are police checked to the highest level.A two week trial costs £50. A full term costs £324. 50% discount is given for siblings.Early Stages Classes 4-6yearsOur 90 minute classes are held weekly, during term time, over three 30 minute sessions. A two week trial costs £25. A full term costs £162We keep our class sizes small allowing us to nurture budding talent at the same time as inspiring those whose confidence needs building.

NORTH DEVON CHORAL SOCIETY
Following the huge success of our recent concerts including the Messiah, and Verdi's Requiem, North Devon Choral Society are looking forward to our next concert at St Michael & All Angels, Torrington, 7.30pm on Saturday, 25th March. Conducted by John Hobbs, with soloists Rebecca Smith and Jason Bomford, there will also be a full 35 strong orchestra.
Our programme will include Elgar's Music Makers, with its memorable melodies, also his gorgeous Sea Pictures, a setting of five poems by Arthur O'Shaughnessy. The Duruflé Requiem is a work of haunting beauty, inspired by Gregorian chants and rich in harmony, one of some choir members' favourite pieces of choral music ever.
Tickets are £15, children and students free, available from Sheena's Sweetshop, from choir members, or at the door, or call 01805 628262.
