I was born and brought up in Bideford and first got interested in music in the early 1970's, when glam rock was at its peak. Marc Bolan, David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Slade and Sweet were among the first groups I listened to. My musical taste has continued to expand (along with my waist line) and I like to listen to all genres of music from progressive rock to punk and folk to reggae. As my record collection increased, I was invited to join the local hospital radio station as a presenter.
It was through the connections made there, that I was asked to present a show on The Voice. You can hear me on a Wednesday night between 6.00pm and 10.00pm for a mixed selection of music along with all the usual features including Album Re-Visited, Number Ones From The Past and Wednesday Worship at 8.30pm.
I have also compered several local events, including the annual Christmas light switch on at Clovelly and for the last couple of years I've been involved in the Bideford Quay New Year Celebrations, Barnstaple Picnic In The Park and Bideford Heritage Day.
