Hi! I'm Mick Southouse! Presenter at the Voice! I'm 43 years young and live in Goodleigh. I kicked off my radio career at the tender age of just 23 spending my broadcasting days working on BFBS Falkland Isle’s, whilst on station with the Royal Navy. Thankfully the penguins and local islanders liked me and so it began. I used to assist with the breakfast show and some production work before I set sail again on my warship.
I continued my presenting days at the North Devon District Hospital radio service “Tarka Radio” to which I still present a weekly show.
In 2013 I was the Sunday breakfast show presenter at the Voice. Then I moved to Monday nights with the Monday Madness.
Local radio has played a massive part in my life and I'm glad to be giving something back to the local community. I’m proud to be a member of the "The Voice FM" team and help give North Devon a truly local voice once more!!
