WHO DO YOU WANT TO TURN ON BARNSTAPLE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS THIS YEAR?

It's nearly that time of year again!!

We are counting down to Christmas.

This year, we’re reaching out to you to help us choose a local hero to light up Barnstaple! Who is your community champion? Whether it’s a dedicated volunteer, a key worker, or someone who’s made a positive impact on our town, we want to honour them at our Christmas Light Switch On. The event will take place on 28th November 2024 at 5 o’clock PM in The Square, with the magical moment happening at 6 PM. Nominate your local hero today, and let’s celebrate the spirit of Barnstaple together!

If you know someone you think is deserving of this honour please TEXT VOICE - LIGHTS to 66777 followed by the name of the person you would like to see switch the Barnstaple Christmas Lights.  These will all be collected and passed to Barnstaple Town Council to make a final decision.  Text from 7am Wednesday 14th October through until 6pm on the 21st October.
