Sublime alt-folk with a Scandi twist
Devon-based Swedish/American singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rosa Rebecka brings together influences as disparate as Joni Mitchell, medieval troubadours, and Jewish sacred music to weave a unique tapestry of music and song. From the forests of her native Scandinavia to the moors of Devon, her haunting voice rises over guitar, flute and singing bowl to tell tales of love and loss, healing and hope.
“A lyrical, sun-dappled and golden voice, tinged with a hint of steely moonlight” BBC Music
