More Information (The Voice is not responsible for external websites)
This evening we will be looking in more depth at eight individual runes, delving into their interpretation using three major Rune Poems and other ancient sources. You will find out, and discuss together, how to read these runes as they fall onto the nine world map.
Later in the evening, we will be learning more about the Viking God Odin and the Norns (the three fates of the Nordic world), and see how the myths and legends play a part in Runic life from the 1st Century AD to the end of the Viking era in 1066.
After the coffee break, we will be rune casting upon the 9 world map.
This is part of a set of four Rune workshops, and level 2, 3, and 4 can be attended in any order.
Please bring along your "practise" runes given to you in the level 1 workshop.
I look forward to seeing you all once again.
Please note limited access and no wheelchair access to St Anne's.
